Worn for days, not minutes

A wristband does not come off at the end of an event. A cause, a date or a hashtag keeps travelling on the wrist that left your gate.

Printed flat or raised

Silkscreen puts the lettering on in a contrasting color; embossing raises it out of the band itself. One reads further, the other lasts longer.

Sizes for the crowd you have

A range of widths and sizes, so a school can order youth bands and an adult event can order adult ones rather than one size for everybody.

Silicone Wristbands: questions

What is the difference between printed and embossed wristbands?

Silkscreen printing lays the lettering on the surface in another color, so it reads clearly from a distance and can be read at a glance by a gate steward. Embossing raises the lettering out of the silicone itself in the same color, so it is subtler but will not wear off. For a message people need to read, print it; for one people will wear for months, emboss it.

Are silicone wristbands latex free?

Yes. They are made from 100% silicone and contain no latex, which is why they are used at schools, clinics and public events where a latex allergy in the crowd has to be assumed.

How many wristbands should I order for an event?

One per expected attendee, plus staff and volunteers, plus a margin for walk-ups and replacements — bands get given away on the day more freely than anything else at a booth. A band without a date printed on it can be used again next time, so ordering over is rarely wasted.

Can wristbands be used for entry control?

They are often used that way: one color per ticket type, per day or per age group, so a steward can check a wrist instead of a ticket. Silicone bands are reusable and can be taken off, so they suit multi-day entry and age checks rather than single-use control where a band has to be destroyed to remove it.
