Mailing List Cleanup: update the people on your list who moved

People move, and every piece mailed to an old address is postage and printing thrown away. This is for the business, church, clinic or club that keeps its own list: we check it against postal change-of-address records and update the people who moved.

Business accounts see their prices and can order online. Sign in or open an account.

Your mailing list cleanup

What do you need done?

Towns, ZIP codes or carrier routes — or tell us you have a list of addresses.

About you

Leave it blank if there is no fixed date.

You'll get a reference number on the next page.

Fewer pieces come back

Addresses are updated for people who filed a change of address, so more of the mailing reaches a mailbox someone still checks.

Keeps your bulk rate

The post office expects a list updated for recent moves before a mailing claims presort rates, so cleaning it first protects the discount.

The list stays yours

Your list is used for your job and nothing else. We never sell, rent or supply a mailing list, and your names are never added to anything of ours.

Mailing List Cleanup: questions

What happens to my list once you have it?

It is used for your job and nothing else. You get the updated file back and it stays yours. We never add your names to anything of ours, we never pass them to anyone, and we do not trade in people's details: we stopped selling lead lists on purpose and we are not going to start with yours.

Can you sell me a list instead?

No. We do not sell, rent or source lists of people. This service only works on a list you already own, which is the whole point of it. If you want to reach households you have no details for, Every Door Direct Mail covers whole carrier routes without naming anybody.

How should I send the list?

Send what you already have. A spreadsheet or a plain export works best, with one row per person and the address in its own columns. If it came out of a membership directory or a point-of-sale system, send it in whatever shape it came out in and we will tell you what we can do with it. We confirm your date when we send the quote.
