They are printed on corrugated plastic, the fluted board used for most outdoor yard signs. It is light, rigid and weatherproof. A metal H-stake is included with every sign; the stake's two prongs slide into the flutes and push into the ground, so there is nothing else to buy.

Keep the main message to a few words and make it as large as the space allows; a good rule is at least 1 inch of letter height for every 10 feet of viewing distance. Use high contrast, such as dark text on a light background, and leave a clear margin at the edges. Send your file at 18 by 24 inches with bleed.
