No damage to the paint
Magnets hold to the steel door without adhesive, so they lift off clean when the workday or the sale is over.
30mil, rounded corners
A 30mil magnet is thick enough to stay flat at speed, and rounded corners resist curling and catching.
Sized to fit your door
Choose from several sizes up to 18 by 24 inches, so the sign fills the door panel without hanging over a seam.
Car Door Magnets: questions
How thick are your car door magnets, and will they stay on at highway speed?
They are 30mil magnetic sheet, the thickness commonly used for vehicle signs, with rounded corners so the edges do not lift. Mounted flat on a clean, smooth steel panel they are built for everyday driving. Avoid placing them over body lines, rust, or non-steel panels, where any magnet holds poorly.
How do I keep a car door magnet from damaging the paint?
Put it on a clean, dry panel and remove it regularly, at least weekly, to wipe both the magnet and the paint. Grit trapped underneath is what scratches, and moisture left for long stretches can dull the finish. Lift it straight off rather than sliding it, and store it flat so it stays smooth.
Can I order a matching pair of car door magnets?
Yes. Order 2 to cover both doors of one vehicle, or 5 to outfit a small fleet; a single magnet is also an option. Send your artwork at the size of the magnet you choose, and keep text and logos away from the rounded corners. We check the file before printing, and orders are ready in 5 business days.
