Which size and stock work best for a direct mail letter?
Sizes run 4 x 6, 5 x 7, 5.5 x 8.5, 6 x 9 and 6 x 11. A bigger piece is harder to miss in a stack of mail, while 4 x 6 reads at a glance. 14pt gloss suits a photo or an offer; 13pt linen and 18pt kraft read more like a personal note.
What do you need in my mailing list file?
Send the list as a spreadsheet with one row per recipient and a column for each thing that changes: first name, last name, address lines, city, state, ZIP and any offer or code. Keep the column headings on the first row and tell us which field goes where.
How many letters can I order at once?
Runs are 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. A run of 100 or 250 suits a test drop to one neighborhood before you commit the whole list. Letters are made to order in Mount Ida and ready in 5 business days after your artwork and list are checked.
