Which door hanger size should I choose?
4.25 x 11 is the standard hanger and gives the most room for an offer. 4 x 11 is a touch narrower, and 3.5 x 8.5 is a short hanger for a simple message or a service reminder. All three are cut with the hole at the top.
How should I set up artwork around the die-cut hole?
Build the file at the finished size with 0.125 inch of bleed on all four sides, and keep type and logos 0.125 inch inside the trim. Leave the top area around the hole clear of anything you need people to read, since that part is punched out.
How many door hangers do I need for a neighborhood?
Count the doors on your route and add a few extra for damage and repeat visits. Runs are 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500, so you can print for a single subdivision or a whole canvassing route. Hangers are ready in 5 business days after your file check.
