Which coating should I pick for economy business cards?
Gloss makes colors and photos look brighter and wipes clean. Matte cuts glare and is easy to write on. Soft-touch adds a velvety feel people notice when they take the card. No coating leaves the bare cardstock, which suits a plain, traditional look. Gloss can go on the front only or on both sides.
How do I set up a business card file with bleed?
Build the card at 3.5 x 2 inches and extend any background color or image 0.125 inch past every edge, to 3.75 x 2.25. Keep text and logos at least 0.125 inch inside the trim line. Export a PDF with bleed included. If you choose rounded corners, leave extra room in the corners for the curve.
What quantities can I order, and do I need a separate file for each side?
