Laser Business Checks: questions
What do the two, three and four part options mean?
Each part is a copy printed in the same run. Two part gives you the check and one file copy. Three part adds a copy for the vendor or the job file. Four part covers a second internal record, so accounts payable and the job folder can each keep one.
What do you need from me to print business checks?
Send your business name and address exactly as they should print, your bank account and routing details exactly as they appear on a voided check from that account, and the starting check number. Read them back twice: they print exactly as supplied.
What stops someone copying a printed check?
Micro-printing. Lines that read as solid rules to the eye are actually tiny text, and a photocopier or a desktop scanner cannot hold that detail, so a duplicate blurs where the original stays sharp. It is the standard check-stock defence and it costs you nothing extra.
