Product Labels: questions
Which label stock should I choose for my product?
Match it to where the product lives. Vinyl for anything chilled, damp or handled with wet hands. Gloss for dry goods where you want strong color. Matte for a plain, tactile look you can write on. Clear when you want the container to show through.
What information belongs on a product label?
Most labels carry the product name, what it is, the amount inside, and how to reach you. Food, cosmetics and cleaning products carry more, such as ingredients and warnings, and the rules differ by category, so check what applies to yours before you send artwork.
How do I order labels for several products at once?
Place one order per design, since each has its own artwork, and keep the shape, size and stock the same across the line so they match. Quantities are 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 per design, printed in-house in Mount Ida, AR, ready in 5 business days.
