Readable on a still day
The bowed pole holds the flag open, so your message does not hang limp when the wind drops.
Narrow footprint
It takes up little ground, which makes it easy to place along a sidewalk or a row of parking spaces.
The shape draws the eye
A tall teardrop stands out against square signs and buildings, which is what makes drivers look twice.
Teardrop Flag: questions
What shape is a teardrop flag, and how does a design fit it?
It is tall and narrow with a curved top edge that tapers toward the bottom, held open by a bowed pole. Design for a vertical panel and keep type stacked and centered, because the curve trims the upper corners and nothing important should sit there.
How should I set up artwork for a teardrop flag?
Build the file at the finished flag size in a vertical layout, with the logo and key words centered in the middle band where the flag is widest. Keep the corners clear, use bold type, and leave the hoist edge free of detail. We check the file before printing.
How many teardrop flags do I need out front?
One flag marks an entrance. Two flanking a driveway read as a gateway and are harder to drive past, and five can line a frontage or mark rows at an event. Quantities are 1, 2 and 5, printed to order in Mount Ida and ready in 5 business days.
