Window Clings: questions
What is the difference between front-adhesion and second-surface clings?
A front-adhesion cling is printed on the face and applied to the outside of the glass, or inside with the print facing into the room. A second-surface cling is printed in reverse on the back, so it goes on the inside of the window and reads correctly from outside, protected from weather.
Do static clings work on any window?
They cling best to smooth, clean glass and to smooth acrylic. Tinted glass is fine. Frosted, textured or dirty surfaces reduce the static hold. Clean the glass, dry it, then apply from one edge and smooth outward to push out air bubbles.
Can I order just one window cling?
Yes. Clings are made to order in quantities of 1, 5 or 10, so a single storefront sign is a normal order. Give us the finished size and tell us whether it will face out or in, and send artwork at that size at 300 dpi or as a vector. Ready in 5 business days.
