Which coating works best on cotton business cards?
Leave the coating off if you want the cotton texture to show and feel natural in the hand. Matte keeps the surface soft while adding light protection, and soft touch gives a velvety finish. Gloss on one or both sides is available if you want color to look brighter.
How should I set up my artwork for a 3.5" x 2" cotton card?
Build the file at 3.5" x 2" with 0.125" of bleed on every edge and keep text and logos 0.125" inside the trim line. Export a PDF at 300 dpi in CMYK. Uncoated cotton absorbs a little more ink than coated stock, so very fine light text may look softer.
What quantities can I order, and how long do cotton cards take?
Cotton Business Cards come in runs of 100, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500. Once your artwork passes our file check, cards are ready in 5 business days. Order the smaller runs if your details change often; the larger runs suit a whole team.
