Something to hand over
A printed certificate gives a walk-in customer a real gift to wrap, not a code to remember.
Numbered in sequence
Sequential numbering lets you log which certificates went out and which ones have come back in.
Envelope to match
Add a white or cream envelope so the certificate stays clean between your counter and the recipient.
Custom Gift Certificates: questions
What should a gift certificate include?
Your business name, address and phone number, the value or the service it covers, a line for the recipient and the date issued, and any conditions such as an expiry date. Leave room for a staff signature so the certificate can be authorized at the counter.
Can each certificate carry its own number?
Yes. Sequential numbering is available, so every certificate in the run carries a unique number. Keep a simple log of which number went to which customer, and check it off when one is redeemed. Leave a clear space in the design for the number to print.
How many gift certificates should I order?
Runs are 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500. Order 25 or 50 to try a design or cover one holiday season, and 250 or more once you sell them year round. Certificates are made to order in Mount Ida and ready in 5 business days.
