Which plaque material should I choose?
Solid walnut and cherry suit a traditional board room or a long-service award. Bamboo is lighter in color and weight. Brushed aluminum and a black piano finish read as modern and photograph well in a lobby. All five take engraving.
What is the difference between laser engraving and a sublimated plate?
Laser engraving marks the wood or metal itself, giving a permanent single-color result. A sublimation plate is printed in full color and then mounted, so it can carry a multi-color logo or a photograph. Cast metal plates are raised and the most formal of the three.
How do I send the names and wording for a set of plaques?
A list or spreadsheet is easiest: one row per plaque with the exact wording, including names, titles and dates set out the way they should appear. Send your logo as a separate file, and check the spelling closely, because engraving cannot be undone.
