Die-Cut Business Cards: questions
Can a die-cut card still have rounded corners or a coating?
Yes. The corner option applies to any square corners left in your outline, and every coating is available: none, gloss on the front or both sides, matte, or soft touch. Matte and soft touch hide fingerprints better than gloss.
How do I set up the cut line for a die-cut business card?
Work at 3.5" x 2" and draw the outline as a separate vector path on its own layer. Extend background color 0.125" past the cut line and keep text 0.125" inside it. Avoid very thin points or slivers, and export a PDF with the cut line intact.
What is the smallest run of die-cut cards I can order?
Runs start at 100 and go up through 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. Because each order is made to fit your outline, we suggest ordering a small run first if the shape is new, then reordering once you've seen it in hand. Cards are ready in 5 business days.
