Numbered in sequence
Sequential numbering gives every ticket its own number, so you can reconcile sales against the door.
A stub for the door
Choose a perforated stub and the gate keeps one part while the guest keeps the other.
Heavy enough to handle
14pt holds up in a pocket all evening, and 16pt is stiffer again for a ticket people keep.
Event Tickets: questions
What size are the tickets and what fits on them?
Tickets print at 5.5 x 2 inches, horizontal, on both sides. The front holds the event name, date, time, venue and admission type. The back is room for terms, a sponsor logo, parking notes or a small map, so the ticket answers questions on its own.
How does sequential numbering work on tickets?
Each ticket is printed with its own number in order, so a run of 500 goes from one number to the next with no repeats. Tell us the starting number, where it should sit on the ticket, and whether the stub should carry the same number as the ticket half.
How many tickets should I print for an event?
Order more than the seats you have, because comps, sponsors, volunteers and spoiled tickets all eat into a run. Quantities are 100, 250, 500 and 1,000. Every order is printed to order in Mount Ida and ready in 5 business days after your file check.
