Should I laminate my menus or use synthetic stock?

Gloss lamination adds a shiny, wipe-clean layer. Matte lamination does the same job with less glare under overhead lights. Synthetic stock is waterproof and tear-resistant on its own, which suits a menu that lives on a patio or gets washed down.

How do I set up a menu I will update often?

Keep prices and seasonal items grouped in one area of the layout rather than scattered through it, so a reprint is a small edit. Build the file at final size with 0.125 inch of bleed, keep text 0.125 inch inside the trim, and send it as a 300 dpi PDF.

What is the smallest menu order?

25 menus. Runs are 25, 50, 100 and 250, which suits a dining room that needs a clean set now and another reprint when the season turns. Menus are printed in Mount Ida and ready in 5 business days once your file has passed the check.
