Giant Flag: questions
How is a giant flag different from a standard printed flag?
Scale is the difference, and scale changes the design. An oversized flag is meant to be read across a lot, a field or a highway, so it needs bigger shapes, fewer words and stronger contrast than a flag people walk up to. Everything else about ordering it is the same.
What kind of artwork works best on a giant flag?
Large flat shapes, one or two colors that contrast hard, and as few words as you can manage. Fine lines, drop shadows and small type disappear at flag scale and in motion. Send vector art if you have it, since it stays crisp however large the flag is printed.
How many giant flags can I order?
Order 1, 2 or 5. One flag suits a single entrance or rooftop; a pair frames a driveway; five can mark a whole frontage or an event field. Each flag is printed to order in Mount Ida, Arkansas, and ready in 5 business days after we check your file.
