Can I put gold foil on both sides of the card?
Yes. Choose two sides and mark the foil area on each. Many people foil the logo on the front and keep the back to plain printed contact details, which keeps the foil as the focal point. Foil on both sides works well with soft touch or matte, where the metallic contrast is strongest.
How do I mark which parts of my design get gold foil?
Send your 3.5" x 2" print file with 0.125" bleed, and a separate layer or file showing the foil areas as 100% black vector shapes with no gradients. Keep foil elements 0.125" inside the trim and avoid very thin lines or tiny text, which do not hold foil cleanly.
What quantities do gold foil cards come in, and how fast?
Order 100, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500. Once your artwork and foil layer pass our file check, cards are ready in 5 business days. The smaller runs suit one person; 1,000 and 2,500 suit trade shows and larger teams.
