What shape and size should a jar label be?
For the lid, measure across the flat top and take about a quarter inch off; a 2 or 2.5 inch circle covers most standard jars. For the body, a rectangle or oval that leaves a clear margin at the top and bottom looks intentional. Sizes run 2 to 4 inches.
Will a jar label survive a candle, a hot fill or a dishwasher?
Film labels handle the warmth of a burning candle in the jar, oils and creams, and a wipe with a damp cloth. They are not meant for a dishwasher or a long soak. Apply to clean, dry, room-temperature glass and let the adhesive set for a day before use.
Can I order a lid label and a body label together?
Place them as two orders, one per design, since each has its own shape and size. Quantities are 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000 per label. Both are printed in-house in Mount Ida, AR, and ready in 5 business days.
