Luxury Thick Business Cards: questions
Is 32pt stock too thick for a standard business card holder?
A 32pt card is roughly twice the thickness of a common 14pt or 16pt card, so a holder or wallet slot fits fewer of them, but the card is still the standard 3.5" x 2" and slides into any normal slot. Rounded corners help it slide in without catching.
Does a thick card need different artwork than a regular one?
No. Set up the file at 3.5" x 2" with 0.125" bleed and keep text 0.125" inside the trim, at 300 dpi in CMYK. If you want the two sides to line up along the edge, mirror any edge-to-edge color on both faces. We check the file before it prints.
What quantities are available for luxury thick cards?
Order 100, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500 per design. A run of 100 or 250 works well as the card you hand to important contacts, alongside a larger run on a lighter stock. Cards are ready in 5 business days after your file check.
