Which corner style and coating suit a mini card?
Rounded corners suit Mini Cards because the small format gets handled a lot and a soft corner resists dog-earing. For coating, gloss makes a small photo or logo pop, matte and soft touch feel refined, and none leaves a surface you can write on for dates or prices.
How much text fits on a 2.75" x 1.1" mini card?
Less than you think, so plan for one message. Build the file at 2.75" x 1.1" with 0.125" bleed and keep text and logos 0.125" inside the trim. A logo plus one or two short lines of type at 7pt or larger reads clearly; export a 300 dpi PDF in CMYK.
What quantities do Mini Cards come in?
Mini Cards are printed in runs of 100, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500. Because they are often used as tags or inserts rather than handed out one at a time, 500 and up makes sense for a shop; 100 or 250 suits a personal calling card. Ready in 5 business days after your file check.
