What is a painted edge business card?
A standard 3.5 x 2 card with color applied to the four cut edges, so the sides of the card are colored rather than the plain white of the stock. The face is printed on one or both sides on 14pt, 16pt or 18pt cardstock, with an uncoated, gloss or matte finish.
How should I design artwork for a painted edge card?
Design it like any business card: 3.5 x 2 inches with 0.125 inch of bleed on every side and text kept 0.125 inch inside the trim. Choose a face design that works with the edge color rather than fighting it; a solid or near-solid background works well. We check every file for resolution, bleed and color first.
How many painted edge cards can I order at once?
