Standard Bookmarks: questions
Should I choose 2x6 or 2x8 bookmarks?
2x6 is the classic size and fits paperbacks and most gift books. 2x8 gives you more room for a reading list, a schedule or a longer message, and sits taller in a hardcover. Both come on 14pt or 16pt cardstock with your choice of coating.
What is soft-touch coating?
Soft-touch is a matte coating with a smooth, velvety feel that reduces glare and fingerprints. It slightly mutes bright colors, so it suits photos and rich dark backgrounds. If you want maximum color pop, choose the UV gloss coating instead.
How do I send artwork for both sides of a bookmark?
Send a front and a back at the finished size plus 0.125 inch bleed on each edge, and keep text 0.125 inch inside the trim. Quantities run 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500, and we check every file for resolution, bleed and color before printing.
