9" × 12" Catalog Envelopes: questions
What fits inside a 9 x 12 catalog envelope?
An 8.5 x 11 page goes in flat with room to spare, so it suits contracts, proposals, brochures, certificates and photo prints. It also takes a presentation folder or a small stack of pages without folding anything.
How should I set up artwork for a catalog envelope?
Build the file at the finished envelope size and keep type and logos at least a quarter inch in from every edge. Leave the address and postage areas clear. Send a PDF at 300 dpi in CMYK, and we will check resolution and color before printing.
How many catalog envelopes can I order?
Runs are 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. Large envelopes get used more slowly than letter envelopes, so 250 or 500 covers most offices for a good while. Envelopes are made to order in Mount Ida and ready in 5 business days.
