Fits a standard note card
The A-2 takes a 4¼" × 5½" card, the size most thank-you and note cards are cut to.
Writes well by hand
The 70lb smooth white surface takes pen ink without feathering, so hand-addressing looks clean.
Logo or all-over color
Keep it simple with a printed return address, or run your colors across the entire outside.
A-2 Announcement Envelopes: questions
What card size goes in an A-2 announcement envelope?
A 4¼" × 5½" card is the usual match — a quarter of a letter sheet, which is how most note and thank-you cards are trimmed. The envelope measures 4⅜" × 5¾", leaving just enough clearance to slide the card in and out easily.
Can I print a return address instead of a logo?
Yes. Print your return address on its own, or with your logo beside it. Supply the artwork as a 300 dpi PDF in CMYK, set at the finished envelope size, with everything at least ¼" in from the edges and clear of the flap.
How many A-2 envelopes come in a run?
Choose 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500. If these are your everyday thank-you envelopes, 500 or 1,000 lasts a long time; a single event is usually fine at 250. Ready in 5 business days once your artwork passes our check.
