#9 Commercial Envelopes: questions
How much smaller is a #9 envelope than a #10?
A #9 is 3⅞" × 8⅞" and a #10 is 4⅛" × 9½", so the #9 is about a quarter inch shorter in each direction. That gap is deliberate: an unsealed #9 fits inside a #10, which is why it is used as the return envelope with a bill.
Can I have my logo and return address printed on the front?
Yes. The logo option prints your mark and return address in full color on the front. If you want the whole face covered, choose full outside printing, and keep text at least ¼" in from the edges and the flap.
What quantities do #9 envelopes come in?
Order 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500 at a time. Businesses that mail statements monthly usually take 1,000 or more; 250 is a sensible first run if you are testing a new look. Envelopes are ready in 5 business days after your file passes our check.
