Takes a quarter-sheet
A 4¼" × 5½" flyer, cut four-up from a letter sheet, drops straight into an A-6 with room to spare.
Roomier than an A-4
The extra width and height help when a card has an insert or a photo you'd rather not force in.

A-6 Announcement Envelopes: questions
What fits in an A-6 announcement envelope?
The envelope is 4¾" × 6½", which takes a quarter-sheet flyer at 4¼" × 5½", a 4" × 6" photo, or a greeting card with a thin insert tucked inside. It is the roomiest of the announcement sizes we print.
How do I keep a photo from getting cut off on the envelope?
Build the file at the finished size and let the image run past the trim so there is no white sliver at the edge. Keep faces, text and anything you can't lose at least ¼" inside the edges, and send a 300 dpi PDF in CMYK.
Can I order A-6 envelopes in a small run?
The smallest run is 250, then 500, 1,000 and 2,500. For a one-time announcement, 250 usually covers the list with spares. If you mail photos or flyers through the year, 1,000 saves reordering. Ready in 5 business days after our file check.
