Clear BOPP Roll Labels: questions
How do clear labels look on a colored or dark container?
Printed ink on clear film is slightly translucent, so the container color shows through your design. On glass and light plastic that reads clean and sharp. On a dark or busy surface, pale colors can disappear, so keep type dark and bold, or choose white BOPP instead.
Will white areas of my design print white on clear labels?
No. White in the artwork prints as clear on transparent film, so any part you meant to be white will show the container instead. Design with that in mind: use dark type, solid color blocks and outlines. Send the file at the finished size with an eighth inch of bleed.
What quantities do clear BOPP roll labels come in?
Choose 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5,000 labels, in circle, square, rectangle or oval at 2, 2.5, 3 or 4 inches. Larger runs make sense once a label design is settled; start smaller while you are still testing the look on your container.
