Shine you can print over

Holds up to water
The foil film resists moisture, so labels stay put on bottles, jars and cosmetics that see condensation.

Silver Foil Roll Labels: questions
Will the silver foil show through my printed colors?
Yes, unless you cover it. Ink on silver foil is translucent, so printed colors take on a metallic sheen and any unprinted area stays bright silver. Design with that in mind: use the open foil as a feature, and keep fine text in a dark color so it reads clearly.
Are silver foil labels water resistant?
Yes. The foil film resists water, so the label holds up on bottles, jars and containers exposed to condensation, hand washing or a damp shelf. It is not meant for long soaking or dishwashers. Wipe the surface clean and dry before you apply the label.
What file should I send for foil roll labels?
Send a print-ready file at the finished size, at 300 dpi or as a vector, with 1/8 inch of bleed on every side. Mark any area you want left as bare silver. Choose 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5,000 labels; we check resolution, bleed and color before the roll is printed.
