Textured Roll Labels: questions

What is the difference between laid paper and estate paper?

Laid paper has a fine pattern of parallel lines pressed into the sheet, in bright white or a warm cream. Estate paper has a softer, more uniform texture, the kind long used on wine labels. All three print in full color and come in circle, square, rectangle or oval shapes.

Are textured paper labels suitable for wine and spirits bottles?

Yes, that is their most common use. They suit bottles kept dry or lightly chilled, candles, jars and gift packaging. Because they are paper, avoid ice buckets and long exposure to water; choose a film label such as white BOPP or vinyl for wet conditions.

How many textured labels are in an order?

Pick 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5,000 labels. Send your artwork at the finished label size, at 300 dpi or as a vector, with 1/8 inch of bleed. Fine lines and small text show the paper texture, so keep type a little bolder than you would on a smooth label.
