Flat Greeting Cards: questions

What is the difference between a flat card and a folded card?

A flat card is a single stiff panel printed on both sides, so the whole front is your image and the message sits on the back. A folded card opens out and gives you four surfaces for a longer note. Flat cards suit announcements, photo cards and invitations.

How do I set up a flat card with a photo on the front?

Build the file at 4.25 x 5.5 or 5 x 7 with 0.125 inch of bleed, and keep faces and text 0.125 inch inside the trim so nothing important is cut off. Supply photos at 300 dpi at final size, and we will check resolution and color before it prints.

Do I get an envelope for every card?

Envelopes are part of the order: choose white or cream and they come with the cards, or choose none if you are handing the cards out in person or already have envelopes on hand. Cards are ready in 5 business days after your artwork is checked.
