What is the difference between saddle stitch and perfect binding?
Saddle stitch folds the sheets in half and staples them through the spine, which suits 8 to 32 pages and lets the booklet open nearly flat. Perfect binding glues the pages into a squared spine you can print on. Wire-O and coil use a wire or plastic coil so the book opens fully flat.
How should I set up a booklet file?
Send a single PDF with pages in reading order, one page per PDF page, not spreads. Use 0.125 inch bleed on every edge and keep text 0.125 inch inside the trim. The page count must be a multiple of four, and we check the whole file for resolution, bleed and color before printing.
What is the smallest booklet run I can order?
Runs start at 50 booklets and go to 100, 250, 500 or 1,000. Every booklet is printed on both sides in full color, and the order is ready in 5 business days once your file passes the check.
