What is Wire-O binding, and how is it different from coil?
Wire-O uses pairs of metal loops that close through punched holes, giving a neat, rigid spine that lays flat and turns pages evenly. Coil is a single continuous plastic spiral, which is more flexible and shrugs off being bent. Both open fully; Wire-O looks more finished.
How much margin does Wire-O binding need in my file?
Keep text and important images at least 0.125 inch inside the trim on every edge, and leave extra room on the binding edge because the punched holes take up space near the spine. Send single pages in reading order with 0.125 inch bleed, not spreads.
What page counts and quantities can I order?
Choose 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 or 32 pages and a run of 50, 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 booklets. Both sides of every page print in full color. Once your file passes the resolution, bleed and color check, the order is ready in 5 business days.
