Hole, slot or string
Pick a round hole for a tag gun, a slot for ribbon or elastic, or have string added so tags come ready to tie.
Card that matches the goods
16pt is stiff and substantial, 14pt is the everyday standard, and kraft gives a natural, handmade feel.
Standard Hang Tags: questions
What is the difference between 14pt and 16pt hang tags?
The number is the card thickness in thousandths of an inch. 14pt is a sturdy everyday tag stock; 16pt is thicker and stiffer, with more heft in the hand for clothing and gift items. Kraft is a brown, uncoated card with a natural look that suits handmade goods.
How do I set up a two-sided hang tag file?
Send the front and back as two pages or two files at the finished size, at 300 dpi or as a vector, with 1/8 inch of bleed. Keep text and logos at least 1/4 inch clear of where the hole or slot will be punched. We check resolution, bleed and color before printing.
How many hang tags can I order, and do they come with string?
Order 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 tags. String is one of the three hole options, alongside a plain round hole and a slot, so choose it when you configure the tag and your tags come strung. Everything is printed in-house in Mount Ida, AR, and ready in 5 business days.
