Where does the perforation go on a rip card?
Wherever your layout puts it. The perforation runs across the short dimension so the stub tears off cleanly; a common split is a business-card-size stub at one end of the 3.5x8.5 card. Mark the perforation line in your file so we can see where the tear should fall.
How should I set up artwork for the tear-off section?
Send one file at the full card size with 0.125 inch bleed on all edges, and keep text at least 0.125 inch away from both the perforation line and the trim. If both sides print, supply a front and a back at the same size so the stub lines up on both faces.
What quantities can I order, and do both sides print?
Rip cards run at 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500. Print the front only or both sides; with two sides you can put the offer on the front and the fine print, a map or a schedule on the back. Orders are ready in 5 business days once your file passes the check.
