6 x 9 postcards, printed both sides
At 6 x 9 a card carries more than twice the area of a 4 x 6, so the headline reads from the mailbox and there is still room for services, a map and a coupon on the back.

Twice the postcard area
A 6 x 9 gives you more than double the space of a 4 x 6 for the offer, the photo and the proof.
Both sides work hard
Lead with one offer on the front, then use the back for hours, a map, services or a coupon code.
Choose the feel of it
14pt gloss for photographs, 16pt matte for a heavier card, 18pt kraft for a brown natural look.
EDDM Postcards (6" × 9"): questions
Is 6 x 9 a size I can mail to a whole carrier route?
A route mailing has to go as a flat, which means taller than 6.125 inches or longer than 11.5 inches. A 6 x 9 card sits just under that line. If you are mailing whole routes, choose 6.5 x 9, 6.5 x 12, 8.5 x 11 or 9 x 12 and we will print to one of those.
What should go on each side of a 6 x 9 card?
Put one offer and one image on the front, with a headline big enough to read at arm's length. The back carries the detail: services, hours, a map, a coupon and your contact information, with a clear area left for the address and the postage.
How many 6 x 9 cards should I order?
Runs are 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. If the cards are being mailed, count the addresses first and add a few spares for damage. Cards are printed to order in Mount Ida and are ready in 5 business days after your artwork has been checked.
