What is 13pt linen stock, and how is it different from gloss?
Linen stock is pressed with a fine woven pattern, so it has a soft, fabric-like texture instead of a smooth coated face. It is uncoated, so colors read slightly softer than on 14pt gloss and the surface takes pen ink. Gloss makes photos brighter; linen feels more formal in the hand.
How should I set up artwork for a linen postcard?
Build the file at your chosen size with 0.125" of bleed on all four edges and keep text 0.125" inside the trim. Export a 300 dpi PDF in CMYK. Because linen is uncoated, solid dark areas read a shade flatter than they look on screen, so avoid very fine reversed type.
How many linen postcards can I order at once?
Runs are 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. Send print-ready files for the front and, if you are printing both sides, the back as well. Once your artwork passes our file check, your postcards are ready in 5 business days.
