Pearl Postcards with a soft shimmer in the light
Postcards on 18pt pearl stock with a smooth, shimmering surface that lifts color as the card catches the light. Sizes from 4x6 to 6x11, one side or both.

Shimmer in the sheet
The pearl surface catches light from different angles, so the card reads differently as you turn it.
Thick 18pt card
18pt has real weight in the hand, so the card feels like an invitation rather than a flyer.
Five sizes to choose from
4x6 for a mailer, 5x7 for an invitation, or 6x11 when you want the card to stand out in a stack.
Pearl Postcards: questions
What does pearl stock do to printed color?
The sheet carries a fine pearlescent sheen, so light bounces back through the ink and colors look brighter and slightly luminous. Photographs and metallic-looking designs gain the most, while very light tints pick up more of the shimmer than dense dark areas.
Will white areas of my design show the shimmer?
Yes. Anywhere you leave unprinted, the pearl surface shows through, which is why designs with open space suit this stock. If you want a flat white, that area has to be printed, so plan the layout around the sheet rather than covering it.
How many pearl postcards can I order?
Runs are 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. Order 100 or 250 for an invitation list and the larger runs for a mailing. Send a 300 dpi CMYK PDF with 0.125" bleed for each side you print. Cards are ready in 5 business days after your file check.
