Which stock is best for writing on a thank-you card?
Matte stocks take pen best: 14pt matte and 16pt matte give a smooth writing surface with no smudging, and 13pt linen and 18pt kraft also accept ink well. Gloss is the best choice for a photo card, but ballpoint and gel pens can smear on a gloss surface.
How do I set up artwork for thank-you cards?
Build the file at your chosen size with 0.125 inch bleed on every edge and keep text 0.125 inch inside the trim. Cards are set up in vertical orientation. If the back prints, send it as a second page at the same size; if not, send the front only.
What quantities are available, and can I order a small batch?
Runs start at 100 cards and go to 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500. 100 covers a season of client gifts or a single event; larger runs suit ongoing customer mailings. Orders are ready in 5 business days once your file passes our check.
